Marcsjustice.com was started over 9 years ago in order to share the progress in my son Marc’s homicide case. After a few years I saw the limited scope of a blog was not able to convey what a parent goes through with the violent death of a child, so I felt compelled to write a book. The book shares the intricate web of family, community and even offenders involved in a very a-typical violent crime. The book is life affirming!
As soon as the Ukraine war started I began writing about the ramifications of the invasion. I believe the war is a pivotal point for the West, an event more important than 9/11, or the Covid pandemic. I believe the West is in an existential struggle for survival and we need to become more informed and act to preserve our commitment to ‘free’ world values!
“Faced My Fears In Portland” was published in October 2021. It’s available in both e-book and paperback format on Amazon.com or at your local book seller. I’m also teaming up with Ukrainian Sergey Hodor to write short books, and blogs about Ukraine and the effects of the war on our world.
My background : School Director/teacher for 25 years. I also majored in English Lit, and history. Along the way I promoted music concerts, and sang in several gospel bands.
