“Our Home Town“
Diane De Han
That week so many of us cried
As our dream seemed so broke
We looked around at us alive
And we thought when no one spoke
These were our neighbors
Like one we built this town
Felt like I lost a brother
Don’t wanna see this torn down
That moment when our hearts stopped beating
we felt closer to everyone
Though the news was fleeting
our new goal next to none
Re-claiming what God declared
Re- naming our destiny
All together gripes are aired
We will see no enemy
